who?

Alex (she/her) is a Brighton-based, multi-disciplinary artist with technical and creative experience across projects of many forms on many platforms (from a GIF to a Jumbotron).

From creating music videos and shorts for YouTube personalities, she branched into creating for international brands (BBC Radio, Red Bull, Amazon Prime, Nescafé), utilising motion graphics, design, video editing and illustration across short and long-form content.

Her driving passion is animation for TV and film, having worked across multiple 2D Animated TV shows in technical and creative roles. Professionally trained in Toon Boom Harmony, she is excited to contribute to stories for families and adults.

An advocate for finding unique careers in Animation, Alex has hosted workshops and guest lectures for students and professionals. She's also currently writing a illustrated children's book!

She is currently working at Blue Zoo Animation Studios, specialising in animation for digital content, apps and new IP, as well as video editing.
